I'm Creative, enthusiastic and technology oriented.  I am a 21st century multi-tasker, why wouldn't I allow my students to be one as well?
I'm currently back in Argentina and looking for new exciting opportunities in the field of Teaching Languages, Distance Learning Education or Translation while I'm actively promoting the local edition of my books here.

Here at STEM,  I  teach High School Spanish levels 1 and 2.  Since they all have netbooks , my students are very engaged in their digital projects and they enjoy using Spanish in the class.  Even though they have difficulty to express themselves in the target language at first, they get better and better as the school year goes by.  Yes, I can be a little pushy about that.

Last year, I taugh Language Exploration (Spanish) in 6th and 7th grade. This was a project based culture class with a very basic language approach. I worked in collaboration with core classes so that my students can apply their knowledge gained in classes such as language arts, math, social studies, wellness and science. You can see some of the sample projects in my WIX.

Spanish Teacher at Rawlinson Road Middle School

2007 - 2012

I was a cultural exchange teacher for 5 years.  I really enjoyed teaching middle school Spanish and Hispanic culture here.  I was very fortunate to use a lot of technology such a Promethean boards, iPads and laptops with my students.

After teaching for several years in Argentina, I decided to begin my journey as a cultural exchange teacher in the USA. I taught Spanish 1 and 2 in High School for 3 years.  It was a big challenge for me but I enjoyed every minute of it.  I made great friends and learnt a lot about the US Educational system, which differs quite some from mine.

I just joined the team at the College of Economic Sciences where I'll be teaching English to undergrads. I'm very exciting to be coming back to the University that I attended for one of my bachelor's and my Master's degree and that opened the door to my exciting career not only here but abroad. It feels good to be able to give back!
